FINISHED PRODUCT
so that is the intercooler all done, just need to wire in my thermo proply.
im also going to change around the piping from the air box to the turbo as its a tight fit where one of the breather hoses is in the plastic standard piping. I will throw up pics of that just waiting on the silicone bends to come in
Also going to put a 3L air box on. Some advice on where to get from would help.

forefold wrote:Is there any reason you went from 2" turbo outlet to 3" for intercooler? Would think it would create more lag?? I'm in the process of fitting a top mount on my td42, 2.5 intake to turbo and 2" to and from intercooler.
The difference in volume would be insignificant.
I've seent he changed from 2 to 3 and pick up power.

ahah yeh Andrew i had been between here and mancfield and couldnt find time to bring it to ya so i just got Millweld to do it while they were doing something else for me...
Forefold, the intercooler was orginialy 3" in both sides. when i got andrew to alter it for me on the intake side i got him to make it 2.5" so it matched the intake. i couldnt be bothered changing the turbo side so i just left it 3". it doesnt seem to have much more lag that i can notice.
temps are deffinitly down driving around home, also they rise alot slower.
will have to see how it is on the hiway.
