Bump stops..

Post by Wendle »

Who makes them in a range of sizes and where can I get a listing or a catalogue or a web page or something where I can pick a size that suits from a list and order them..
Taking something off a wreck is no good to me cause the wreckers here suck and I want to avoid having boxes and packers and dodgy stuff attatched to the stock ones..
I was thinking of searching the race & rally places maybe??

Well the cats out of the bag now eh Hayden :D
Might just have to get a GQ and let you blokes go to town on it
There was some talk about hydraulic bumpstops on a club trip yesterday for a supercharged GQ swb thats doing the Outback Challenge this year. He was worried about pitching front to rear over the sandy stuff, I wish I took more notice on what they said. One of the guys there had done a few of em.

Yeah mate it was Al's rig.
After the Challenge I'll get the new springs and I'll call you about those rear shocks. I think I nailed it now = RS99247 S-42 top mount (standard Paj) and LS43 bottom (but will have to be bushed to a LS82 to fit) gives 9.25" of travel. I've been told this will be fine in a lwb as is but will need retainers (no probs), should help keep the boots on the deck a bit better
