Hey guys,
First cab off the rank, I have checked the bible, and found only a link to poly v steel/ally block, nothing specific to the hilux. I've also performed a search, using different parameters and got no results (i must be searching incorrectly, keyed in "hilux" as a test, with toyota as the room and got no search result)
Looking at doing a body lift on my house mates dual cab to assist with clearing the 35's. I was wondering who had done this and what was required. I know the transfer stick and gear stick need to be bent, i'm assuming bent both toward the dash.
Does the radiator shroud need to be replaced or trimmed?
Will the factory radiator hoses still fit?
Will i need to change or extend brake lines?
Thanks for your help guys.

i have a dual cab 2000 that im half interested in doing but im scared to put blocks in as im afraid i may run into issues that i wont be able to overcome during one weekends work. and would hate to have my only mode of transport out of action.

i actually have a GQ....this lux is my housemates.
It's a 1990 dual cab syleside. It's not a daily so will give it a crack soon and let you guys know how it goes. Does anyone know where i can get an ally set of blocks with bolts the right length to suit a lux? i would assume the bolt size would be different across the board.

ok here we go---
You will need to take the bottom part off the radiator shroud.
There should be two rubber boots around the gear levers - Throw away the bottom one.
Trim the holes around gear levers where the levers hits the cab when changing gears. (may need to extend both gear levers and bend.) (I recomend doind this)
Unbolt the clutch line where it goes from steel to rubber on the fire wall and stretch where the steel line is coiled.
Then you just need to cut and shut ya bull bar if you have one.
If you are putting in full steel blocks - that is great.
If you are putting in poly or nylon blocks with steel bush - make sure the steel bush is a few mil shorter as it could push through the mount over time.
Good luck.
