86 Hilux Suspension Q's

Post by Big-Bird »

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to ask a few q's about my 86 hilux that when i bought had been converted to coil springs, but still retains the leaf springs as well.
The guy i bought it off reckoned it was meant to be alot more comfortable, however it is rough as guts.
Any way wanted to know what is the best way to lift the front of it up as the 31s i've got on it at the moment hit the inner guard when compressed.
And also why would you bother doing this conversion in the first place?

Cheers,
Dean
