80 series manual - best one??

Post by slyder »

What would be the best 80 series service manual you can get.
Toyota offer a very detailed manual but $400 plus - ouch!
Which of the others has the better details and instructions for the DIYer.
If you have a copy of the detailed Toyota manual, I'd be a happy recipient ;)

toyota is the best.

check ebay, can pick one up for far less than 400.

max ellery, gregory and haynes are ok, but not the best.

there are free to download versions of factory ones on a few sites. only cost is your printer ink and some paper.

if i could remember the links, i'd post them for 'ya.

www.ih8mud.com is a good place to start your search.

cheers

ive found in the past max ellerys are utter garbage poor photo copies of the original manuals

made the mistake of buying one years ago, publisher had nothing to say about the illegable wiring diagrams in it

steer well clear of them is my opinion

I have found Haynes to be shit also, especially the wiring diagrams.

I buy OEM or Gregory's.
