I got some answers back from CAMS today reguarding the type of event I want to run. To run in a Motorkhana, there is noy restrictions on tyres, motor size or roll cages.
Still waiting on some of the other questions I asked to be answered, but so far, it looks good to me.

can u get on too any land between rocky an mackey or will all the comps be up around bowen

These comps wont be as far up as Bowen. Most will be with in an hour North of Mackay. Cuurently looking at sites south & west of Mackay also.

Are there going to be restrictions or penalties now or in the future for having a turbo or supercharger on a motor bigger than 4.2L in your comps?

At this stage, the only thing this going to be out is NOS, but in saying that, many other comps are starting to reel back in the mods to make the sport more competitive and affordable. The rules we ran with this yaer will have a face lift before we start again. I like the rules that the CQ Challenge run, as well as some of the XWC ones, so it will probably be a cross between the two.
