I think I would be concerned about that, I dont own one but I thought they reved harder than the td42's.
2,800 rpm sounds BAD.

Just want to no how hard everyone elses 3.3td revs on 100kph. I am thinking that my tacho is out because when it reads 3000rpm and thats as far as she revs it sounds like it is revving alot harder. When I'm on 100kph it sits at about 2300rpm. She also has a top speed of 130. Normal? Any replies would be greatly appreciated as I would like to get this sorted. Cheers.

This is just a replie to my 3.3TD only reving to 3000rpm. I have checked the air filter its fine, replace the engine oil and filter, done the fuel filter. Now once the car is at norm temp I revved it in neutral and it goes to 4000rpm. In first it goes to 3300rpm max, 2nd 3000rpm, 3rd really struggles to get to 2800 unless Im going down a hill lol. Its driving me nuts. The only thing I can think of is valve springs?. Is it true that a diesel that had never been reved properley from new wont rev once its done some work. It is a one owner car. Please tell me what you think cause its drivin me nuts.
Cheers.
