got a hilux LN 106 and the fuel gauge go up and down as your driving is it a normal problem when the sender is going or a wiring

mine dosnt go up and down but when it is on empty it still has 20l left and my mates that have hiluxs as well all the same

when my is on full it sometime reads full or half or empty and all the above up down all around the place
