Weird Death Wobbles?
I Have The Death Wobbles At The Moment. The Panhard Bushes In The Front Were Slighty Flogged Out So I Replaced Them Anyway. It Still Did It After I Replaced Them.
Today I Changed My Simex's Over To My Brother Kreepy Krawlies And Problem Gone, I Cant Figure It Out.
Its A GQ Patrol, 5"lift, Superior Flex Arm, Stocks Rear Arms, Adjustable Panhards
The Simex's And The Maxxis Are Both 35/12.5/15 On 10" Rims
-Wheel Bearings Were A Little Bit Loose But I Honestly Dont Think That This Would Affect It As Bad As This
- One Of The Rear Tires Is Slightly Out Of Balance (simex)
Panhard Bushes And Panhard Nuts, Including Locking Nuts Are Tight and Have Been Ruled Out So Any Ideas Would Be Helpfull.

Re: Wobble
not rear tyres...but out of balance front tyres will..Dyls GQ wrote:Yes But Its A Pretty Crazy Wobble Like A Panhard Wobble... I Really Didnt Think An Out Of Balance Rear Tire Could Be Doing It
as will
worn panhard bushes
worn radius arm bushes(rear)
worn caster bushes
worn pretty much any bushes..
the GQ has a very fragile front end..i used to think mine didnt drive to bad..put new suspension in it the other day and redid all the bushes while i was at it..it now drives better than the missus commodore
one other thing how far have you driven it with it wobbling..were the Simex still cold..they develop flat spots when sitting and take a few kms to even out..my JTs used to do it for about 5 - 10 kms first thing in the morning after sitting all night

Wobbles
All Radius Arm Bushes Are Brand Spankaz
Replaced Panhard Bushes About A Week Ago
Checked All Panhard Nuts Were Tight
I Know About The Simex's Needing To "Warm Up" This Is All The time
-Sorry I Should Have Mentioned Its Happening At The Usual 80km

i've had similar issues with simex's too. Great tire off road but refuse to be balanced. running the internal beadlocks probably didn't help either. I couldn't drive my simex's over 50k's without getting the death slaps, tried a set of creepies and no dramas. The simexs were using up to 400 grams of weights and still only barely in balance.

Nissans / jeeps do it.
Search death wobble.
My opinion its a little of everything and when the balance tips the last thing changed is blamed.
1# drop panhard mount at chassis to ensure draglink and panhard are parallel at ride height.
2# Fix all the little things
