Hi im just curious to know if anyone has fitted 30 spline longs into a mq front diff or if not would it be possible to do without major engineering headaches thanks

no idea on your engineering....

but as far as I know Longs are not made for any Patrols. Everytime I have asked why everyone says because the Patrol doesn't need them, storng as drivetrain to begin with!

The C200 front diff in MQ/MKs is a bit weak though. You could benifit from some stronger axles but they will have to be custom made which gets expensive fast. Yuri4x4 has told me he can have them made no probs.

I wasnt sure if it had been done before and im worried the cv's wont hold up too long turning 38 inch tsl swampers in the rocks.There are a few guys over here running the 30 spline longs and all have good things to say about them

Put heat treaded GQ CV's from Yuri in there.
Patrol 2.8 '84, twin carburators, Z-car header, 280ZX cam, SPOA, ARB lockers f+r, Ramsey winch, 33" Maxxis Mudders and some rust....

Ive been looking at that option and just thought that the longs would be a step up in strength over yuris
