Length to extend LSPV link

Guys what is the ball park length that you extend the proportioning valve with a 3-4" lift on an 80. I do not have the "kit" bracket and nor do I want it. I wish to extend the threaded mount as per original as I like to keep the factory look of things like that for several reasons biggest of which is personal choice.

I'm not sure however due to the leverage ratios etc whether it needs to be the same as the lift height. I know it's inthe same plane as the springs for lift as such but not sure if the action of the arm means it needs to be that amount.

What ever distance the axle is lowered away from the chassis from stock, that's how far the bracket needs to raise it.
This is assuming the valve has not been "played" with.

I did exactly this to my coil rear and it worked .... well ... as good as they worked before.

I tried putting a bracket in after my lift but the lspv arm needed to run right where the upper control arm is. So I ended up lowering the lspv valve itself 6mm -worked a treat and didnt have to touch the diff side with a bracket

So I take it Shane the standard slots are long enough to get hte 6mm required and then maybe a little fine tuning on the diff end.
