No problem with 35" tyres. Vehicles must be road registered and a safety check will be carried out. You don't need a roll cage unless you have a soft top vehicle. Don't forget the helmut.

The new track has taken shape and trucks are running late into the night carting water. Weather in Romsey today was great, hopefully we see a repeat of the blue skies tomorrow. Kids amusements including Dogem cars and a jumping castle have been set up. Food vendors are on site. Gates open at 9, racing starts a 11am. Road registered competitors must be on site 2 hours prior to racing. Remember to bring your helmut.

Don't forget a chair. Cars will not be allowed to park along the fences as in previous years.

4x4 mud racing Romsey

Post by blue oval »

I attended this event on the weekend and have a few issues.

if they want to attract bigger crowds , they should get the address correct , i think it was Romsey rd. Romsey not Wallan rd. Romsey.

They shoud not have stoped for lunch as the food vendor could not handle every body at once and you could see the track from the food van.

Now for saftey,s sake every body and i mean every body marshelling or heping in the infield should were a HI_VIS vest this should include the clown/hoon in the green 100 series ute who drove it like a brain dead moron and by the sound of it blew a cv in the process.

When a vehicle tips over or flips don,t run across the path of the socond vehicle which would not be able t stop if you slipped over.

However i did enjoy the racing , more compeditors would be nice and $15 is reasonable
