Hi,
My 'new' 105 (only 2,000 KM) has a Turbo (which I need to tune) & 33" A/T
After reviewing carefully the relevant posts in the forum, I was thinking about REDUCING the ratio to somewhere around 4.1 - to improving the cruising and to add ARB lockers
Thoughts ? or recommendations ? I did not see anyone doing 4.11 on the 105
Cheers,

yes, you can go to 4.1 or 3.9, as these ratios are available in the turbo 70 and the 5 speed auto turbo 100. The ring and pinion in the IFS fits the front rfs diff...when the chev 6.5 turbo is installed in these aussie trucks, they put 3.9 ratios in them

Confucious say...man who argue with idiot, worserer himself
though it may sound like your engine is reving and doing nothing it is actually fighting the wind
I also realise that the turbo ( not factory i gather)will give you more torque to push along thru the air and up inclines
you probably will not get any or much gain but will have to cog swap more often and lose some of the crawl ability
the factory turbo motors have a lot more power and torque than a 1hz with after market turbo
having the taller gears will also load up your already fragile gearbox that with a turbo added will be hurting even more
i would just put 33's on it not worry about changing the ratios
i run 529's in mine they are a bit low with 35's but my engine can rev a bit higher
have not heard of diferent hi range gearing for 105's with the r series box
