If I had to do one, I'd be stealing ideas from Boof's one that Brooksy did. That thing was a work of art.

I agree with v840, it seems everyone is doing the same stuff again, its nice to see something original if its the one im thinking of that tray of Boofs is real nice , i like the look of the work with the dimple dies,, "Dimpling" i guess.
Not that i ever came up with anything original, lol.

what is the tray going to be used for?
Does it need to carry work stuff, camping stuff or what? Does it need to have sides on it?
Does it need to be shortneed or lengthened from stock?
Are you capable of doing metal fab work or do you just want to bolt on and cut off the existing tray?
Do you want it at the stock height or do you want it lowered with wheel tubs?

i'm interested to see what is out there for a dual cab. Plenty of single cab designs around.

It also comes down to what you want to compromise with what you want to do. i'd like to shorten/narrow mine a bit but don't want to compromise practalcality to much. it's gets a little tricky some times!!!!

whatever you choose, make sure you include an onboard BBQ and keg/esky in your design :D

my main prob at this stage is fitting stuff under the tray.
gas : 90 lt tank
fuel : gotta make custom one as the original will need to go for coil conversion
battery : i hope lol want to get it out of engine bay as doing a 5l conversion.
gotta make custom cross member for coil conversion.
and custom rear shock mounts

at this stage leaning towards something like bushtuckerneds but with 45ed rear corners.
twin 2" tube head board withe drop in rear rack as will be used for work at times.
starting on it this week so im making it up as i go :D
