THE MACARHTUR 4WD CLUB IS HOSTING AN OPEN DAY AT ORAN PARK RACEWAY ON THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRACK. IT WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY THE 9thAUGUST.
THERE WILL BE A FEE OF $30 PER CAR DRIVING THE TRACK SEPECTATORS ARE FREE. THERE WILL BE FUNKHANA SYTLE EVENTS HELD THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
THERE WILL BE A CANTEEN WITH A SAUSAGE SIZZLE ON THE DAY.

THIS WILL BE A GOOD STEPPING STONE INTO 4X4ING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A 4X4 BUT UNSURE OF ITS LIMITATIONS OR YOUR LIMITATIONS!!! OR JUST A FUN DAY OUT WITH THE WIFE AND KIDS. THIS WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON A CONTROLLED TRACK CLEARLY MARKED,. THERE WILL BE PEOPLE TO HELP WITH RECOVERY IF NEEDED AND TO OFFER ADVISE ON THE BEST LINES TO BE TAKEN IF UNSURE.
OR FOR THE CLUBS ATTENDING A GREAT TIME TO SEE WHO SCORES THE HIGHEST POINTS IN THE EVENTS WITHIN YOUR CLUB.

Ok its this weekend for those who want to teach there partners to drive this is for you. for a fun weekend come out to Oran Park thisd sunday gates open at 8.30 dirvers breifing about 930ish then some fun

Is it a soft roaders only type track as I am wondering if I will have more fun in my stock Suzuki or my twin locked lifted cruzer... never been there.... thinking about going ....cheers

Its your call but you will mostly likely have more fun in the stocker, its got a bit of water, some wombat holes, hill climb with a step decline into a bit of a drop at the bottom, by the end of the day you will be pushing the suk but having shit loads of fun.
its a great intermediate track and training track.

Yeah it was a bloody good day actually.... Good to see so many out there.
4 of us from Downunder came out and had a great day.
