tyre scrubbing gu ute!
hey, just put the 5 inch efs extreme lift in my coil ute and the rear is still scrubbing up on the tray with 33's on. so thought about lifting the tray up but didnt want the head board to stick up to high, should i find some bigger bump stops or is it worth hackin into it. any one got any ideas or pics ?

bump stop extension should of been taken care of as part of the kit, especially if shocks that are considerably longer than standard were used.
Yeah mate, your bumpstops are what limit the compression stroke of your suspension, so if you did,nt change them, your still gonna have clearance issues.
i would lift the tray for sure, it seems such a shame to extend bumpstops and limit wheel travel.
just run long shocks but take out a heap of leaf packs... i put a 5" lift in my hilux, took out leaf packs so it sits about 3" now but flexes really well, cant hold much weight in the back but its one or the other isguess...clm434 wrote:the stuff the leaf sprung utes can only dream ofhaha
any ways does it scrape on the top or the inside of the tray?? have you considered wheel spacers? bbm have cheapish but good wheel spacers
young and doesnt know any better, thats my excuse any way.

you could maybe put 2" body lift blocks just in the tray... its only 50mm so should give u enough clearance but wont really make much more of a difference with your head board height...
