Hi guys just wondering if 80 series ring and pinion can fit hilux centres as a bloke has a post in the wanted section for 4.88 ratios and i have some for an 80. cheers JimmyR

The front from an 80 is a high pinion center, the complete unit will bolt into a lux, but 80 front ring and pinion will not fit into hilux front housing. the screw on the teeth goes the opposite way to a lux.

80 rears are completely different.

so in a word the gears on their own will not swap in but a complete front will replace and complete front.

hope thats makes sense.
