Best 1 inch Body lift for Gu ute (no airbags)

I need to body lift my gu ute to fit the auto commodore box for my ls1 conversion. According to Mark's 4x4 website I only need 25mm / 1inch and ute's dont have airbags so thats not a worry.

Whats the best sort/brand to get?

Does anything have to be modified/extended?

Any tips would be appreciated

make your own, easy as pie
85 hi top drover, 31s, 2 inch exended shackles 2 inch bl.
88 tb42 swb mav,35 claws, 4 inch lift

I would rather buy something manufactured. More on the legal side i'm thinking.

I think you'd be pretty safe with any of the manufactured "kits" (Superior Engineering, Snake, Big-O etc).

All they are are blocks of alloy with a hole drilled in them... Where you buy it wont make it more legal than making your own.

Since your only going 1inch, (you maybe better going 1.5 to be sure, you shouldnt really require extending anything.

hey mate my old man has the ls1 in his gu wagon with the commordore auto (its a marks kit) and he has got a 1 inch in it and is fine he has a marks body lift in it

hope i could help
