1st thing I did but unfortunately toyota wont sell the actuator on its own, but the will sell me the actuator, locker and diff . They say they cant be seperated.

Didnt expect much else.

Major bummer. There are some specific Toy and Nissy wreckers around, a lot of them are even hotline members, hopefully you might get some joy there.

electronic diffs or air lockers?

if it's electronic diff locks, there is a thread or 3 on www.ih8mud.com 's forum, in the 80/100 series part that goes through common probs and fixes for this, may not need a new one... just a suggestion

did you get a price on the locker, actuator, and diff

Im sure 4x4 Salvage in Dandenong 97935544 have one it would be a complete diff centre and would be alot cheaper than 3k Ask for Murray.
A complete diff centre would give you a lot of spares.
