75 Series Power Steer Box Same as 80 Series?

Post by Drift Technician »

Hey guys,

Im wrecking a 75 series ute and I've had someone interested in the power steer box ask me if it is the same as the 80 series power steer box.

Are they the same or completely different?
If its not upside down and on fire, I'm not trying hard enough.......

The search function keeps coming up with "No posts meet the required criteria" or some such garbage when I try and search on here atm.

Even if I do get a page up, if I try to get to the next page of searches it comes up with the same thing, even if there is 100 pages of search.

Frustrating to say the least.

I'm assuming by your post though that they are completely incompatible, will let the person know, thanks for your help.

Basically they turn in opposite directions as one is mounted in front of the steer shaft and the other mounted behind 79 and 75 are the same though

I know what you mean though they look pretty similar
