My 75 Series Ute.

Post by atcmatt »

Hi all. I have just bought myself a 94 75 series turbo diesel landcruiser ute. So far Im liking it. Bit of a change from a 5 litre wagon. Im only new to the game of 4x4s so naturally I have a few questions..

It currently has 31 inch cooper discoverers on it and It seems to rev its tits off on the freeway. About 3 grand at 120 clicks. Is this normal? What would I expect to be getting out of it with a set of 33s on it? easy fix or not really?

Is there only one diff ratio for these trucks? 4.11111111?

My windscreen panel is rusty. Should I get it repaired or is it better to bolt in a fiberglass one? Is this a big job?

Thanks Guys.

can say on the rust! dont have that problem! As far as the revs go yes they rev hard with 31's on. i went to 285x75x16 abit taller then 33's and it droped my revs back to 2800. Yes the diff ratio is 4.1.

Hope this helps!
