Post by -DE_LUX- »

Hey all. i,ve got this drama where i,ll be off road selecting between 2 and 4wd and all of a sudden it jumps over or around the selectors and i,m pulling the bloody centre console out and the shifter to realine the bastard.
I,m sure someone has had this problem before as there is about 370 thouh on the clock. Any suggestions would be great. cheers!

the end of the shifter slips thru the gates on the transfer shifter. Mine does it, but I got the hang of being able to slide it back into the right spot, you can do a couple of weld tacks on the sides of the gear stick shifter (the bits that push the gates) but I'm to lazy to do that with mine

Yeah i got a yn67 with a huge, massive big block 4y petty. that sounds like exactly what my prob is. Does any one do an exchange on the transfer shift lever? or whole transfer with lever? Cos my front transfer bearing is shagged as well.
