I asked my pump builder what was the mods done and he wouldn't tell me, so dunno how much luck you'll have finding this out.

Its how they make their cash so cant blame them....also there are a few different ways of doing the same job eg i have heard of Volvo parts being installed - your neck of the woods eh?

good luck

Most are the same as this after trial and error on several of them, I know Andy has mentioned it before why he wont give out the info, he spend a shit load on testing to find the right one.

last time andy was asked he didn't give out the answer,
His reason is that there is more then one. and at the price he had to pay it cost him thousands to find the right one.

Here I am with the, yes the powerful :) RD28T

Following engine mods:
big GT2871R.86AR bb turbo
12mm plunger from a german made MAN truck. pump is set up to deliver 100cc of fuel.
injectors set to 155ats
3" dump/exhaust
custom plenum chamber( velocity stacks inside)
3" IC pipes
Big FMIC
Powershot LPG injection
Snow Performance Water/meth injection
Big kn airfilter
Exedy xtreme clutch

Puts out around 250hp/500nm. My latest modification to it was water injection and I`m very happy with the power increase

I've heard of everything from Volvo to 1HD-T Landcruiser to Komatsu plungers being used! Also everyone I know that does it just won't tell. One of those intellectual property things.
But $1500 NZ and you can get it done so it really isn't that expensive.
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

These prices are in no way accurate but represent a guide only on what I have allowed for my engine

Currently porting the head. free for me but normally $500-800
HPC combustion chambers, piston crowns and exhaust ports. $600
New turbo pistons/ liners etc, hone parent bore 100% round and fit O/S liners for perfectly round bore. $1000
Engine balance. $300
Resize, rebush rods. $150
New head bolts and rod bolts $100
Line bore/tunnel $250
Deck-special surface grind for 100% flat $300
My design camshaft, about 10 degrees more duration and .050 more valve lift. Regrind and lifters $200
Custom extractor style exhaust manifold. $1000 steam pipe $2400 316 stainless
Custom plenum inlet manifold (can't get enough air through the stock log design. materials for me $200, built with labour $700
Custom roller turbo, one of our own combinations for both reliability and radid spool speeds. $2400
Valve springs. $200
Engine kit $1800
Pump and injectors $4500-6000 depending on pump
Head reco, pre comps, valve seats, guides. $1200
Dissasemble $300
Reasemble $1000, to install injectors, pump etc
Custom intercooler and plumbing $2000
Stuff I forgot $1000
3" exhaust $800
Custom dump pipe $200
Alloy custom 4" Air box $550 (as used in my 325 rwkw turbo gen3)
Stainless steel 4" snorkel, fully tig welded $600 (cost of parts only)
Prolley need a radiator $1100
This is a TOP end build admittedly!

The injectors are included but that is just a pressure crack test and maybe a shim to up the pressure to suit, this was included in the $1500 I paid.

Note: This isn't about who's getting what cheaper - its what are the mods guys are doing to the pumps. so far its aneroid and 12mm head/ rotor is there anything else?
