SPEEDO NOT WORKING

hey guys,
i did a gearbox swap last week as my old one need retiring. now my speedo wont work i check the sensor and and drive gear which seem fine

any ideas??

how do you test the wiring from the plug up too the dash??

Not trying to be a smart arse or anything, But have you tried tapping the dash?

Mine sometimes stays on 0kms then shoots up to what ever im doing (Usually around 60ks).
Team Lock n load.

yeah mate i did try that lightly and maybe a little hard too :D but didnt seem to affect it

i have changed the senors over from old box and new one but no different and the reverse light & 4wd light all work fine

Did you check the gear on the output shaft, if its plastic it sould be stripped.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.

check between the gear drive an the sensor little drive shaft about an inch long see if it there.LOL

Mine sticks at 60km/h. And will jump +/- 10km/h depending on whether i'm speeding up or slowing down. I seriously think there is some shit jamming the needle because everything else is fine.
