80series A/C Clutch/bearing replacement

Post by shorty_f0rty »

the A/C clutch or bearing has gone on the A/C pump on my 1hdt 80 series and I was wondering if anyone knew if you can just replace these parts or if the entire A/C pump needs replacing?

I am pretty sure thats what has gone on the pump it would squeal when i used the A/C and stop when the a/c was off.

Any tips or hints on how to get this replaced is appreciated. After driving back from the gold coast yesterday at lunch time I think i'll need to fix this sooner than later!
