60 series rear disc brake swap info needed.

Post by hurricane »

really would like to get rid of the drums on the back of my 60's and convert to disc brake.

is it possible to bolt on the rear setup of an 75 or 80 series disc brake setup to my diff housing?

is there any thing else out there?

ive tryed a search but havnt got any helpful info, granted ive only got limited time on the net to search as ive only got the net at work.

any help or info would be great.

cheers, dan

Youd need a custom bracket to suit the backing plate pattern on the 60 axle though.

Try this guy

Be aware his conversion relies on a tailshaft handbrake.
