replacing both ball joints on 93 U.S. Trooper

Post by Kickingback99 »

Has anybody replaced upper and lower joints themselves on a 1993 U.S. Trooper, and if so how bad a job is it? Local garage wants $700 to replace both upper and lower on drivers side and I want to make sure this is not something I can do myself considering the parts are about $90 together. ANy input is greatly appreciated....Thanks in advance.......

its an easy job, find a set of instructions and do it yourself. $700 is ridiculous...
cheers mate.

mate,
Have a look here;
http://www.4x4wire.com/isuzu/tech/CVboots/?

it covers changing CV boots but your ball joints have to come out to do this, so it is relevant, and its on your side ofthe pond.
Goodluck with it.
