hi guys am looking to buy a GQ patrol at first i thought can't be that hard as all i wanted was a 4.2D or 4.2TD but how was i wrong any way know that it seens impossible to get aut to the to this is what i would like to know

How good/bad are any of these on fuel and do any of them have engine or drive line problems that may pop up and how are they at towing heavy loads

2.8TD
3L VL motor
4.2 petrol EFI (NOT THE CARBY ONE)

ummm you realise its not a VL motor its actually a nissan motor, and the one in the patrol has some major differences to both VL and R31, as for the others really not hard to find info on them.
