Hella 4000 HID conversions
Just wondering if anyone has converted their ralley 4000's to an aftermarket HID kit? If so:
- how was the result?
- were they comparable to say a genuine bought HID?
- are their any bodgey "brand" setups to avoid?
Cheers
Pete

We convert Hellas on a regular basis. So long as you pick the right colour and the right kit they can be just as good if not better than a lot of the genuine HID's out there.
Give me a call, preferably during business hrs and I can help you with any queries you may have.
Also we have a few kits left over from the group buy from people who didn't pay if you are interested.

You can HID litterally any non sealed beam light on the market.. I've done mst of them just for shits and giggles..
With the correct globe placement, a shit HID will be better than the best halogen.
It's good for you personally to see different color temps.. I don't care what any of the 'experts' say, the color temp is a personal preference. I'm colorblind so 6000k is nice for me. I find 5000k to 'yellow' pure white light is only pure white when it's filtered by your eye. Ask to see different temps.
The lightforce 4300k HIDs look like fog lights to me!
Enjoy your HID's and the glareback from road signs....

Couldnt say to be honest, havent lined them up next to a set- were they comparable to say a genuine bought HID?
There probably are dodgey brands... Jet-6 does some good sets.- are their any bodgey "brand" setups to avoid?
