Power Steering Cooler
Did any hilux come with a power steering cooler from factory?
Since it has become summer my steering is heavier in the heat of the day compared to first thing in the morning?
It is not overfull either

cold = no worries, i have a factory toyota one here and will swap it for an auto transmission cooler of any vehicle
(thats right kids) that XD in grampas backyard, just became useful, strip the tranny cooler (just cut the hoses, i will need the fittings) and swap it for your very own, in very good condition toyota cooler!!
cmawwwn, get me a decent ATF cooler, and ill clean swap it for my toyota one!! (VALUE PACKED DEAL)

Yeah, no power steering and the steering fade tends to be bad by early morning, let alone in the afternoon.

Hell yeh I,m thinking of running a cooler on mine soon, as when running large tyres it really makes the pump work harder and thus making the oil hotter and thinner.
You will never get the fluid too cold.
The whole idea is to get the fluid at a constant temp, this will allow consitant steering all day without a huge amount of fade.

you know guys your pump could be worn out as when the oil heats up and gets thinner is could then start bypassing around the pump instead of actually pumping the fluid
if that helps any
i put power steering in my old dual cab hilux and i rand it around for a couple of days with a mates 39.50 on and it didnt give me any dramas
