has any body had one of freds coil over conversions done and how well did it work ???
Any reason why you don't want to do it correctly - 3 link front, 4 or 5 link rear?
all the drop a few leaf and a few coils set ups I have seen have bad axle tramp and smoke uni's when out playing.
This Freds conversions dude could be different though.

I think they are popular because they are much cheper than a proper conversion.
I wouldn't fit one.

And:By having Comfort Suspension you will obtain a more comfortable ride from your lear sprung 4WD.
Original height is restored with the fitting of Comfort Suspension, i.e. Drive shafts, brake lines and steering are restored to manufacturer's specifications.....
with no change to roll centre, track width, centre of gravity, or apparently any other element of suspension geometry, stability can be improved yet a "soft" ride achieved?Comfort Suspension coil/leaf combination gives better stability and softer ride making it a safe comfortable vehicle.
How is it possible that people are still duped by the crap?
PS I better get some for my "lear" spring vehicle.
