Hey Guys, wondering if someone can help me out My uncle has a 92 Pajero which the ecu has died so he was told, The mechanic has informed him that he can;t locate a replacement secondhand ecu and maybe should consider wrecking the car as the car is in good condition with low K's be a shame. If anyone knows where we can locate one or maybe has one laying around i would appreciate the heads up.
Thanks in advance guys

Yeah it's getting about that age.
They are known to blow the main capacitor - they apparently leak and it results in a fishy type smell.
This mob will do a repair or a c/o - http://www.efi.com.au/pagePartsnavParts.php
This mob is the biggest Jabber wrecker in Melbourne if they don't have a 2nd handy then no-one will - http://www.imlachs.com.au/Home/Home.asp
Another wrecker to try who has a good stock of Paj parts is - http://www.all4wd.com.au/Default.asp - ask for Ben.
2nd hand ECU's go for around the $200-250 mark.
