Ford Courier Suspension Installation

Post by gg_courier05 »

I have a 2" suspension lift kit for my 2005 Ford Courier and i am currently looking for someone to fit it.

It has 4 new raised shock absorbers, new torsion bar fron and new rear leaf springs.

I also have the reinforced shock tower brackets for the front.

Have been quoted $265 by a suspension place and $350 by my mechanic.

Does anyone know of a place in Melbourne that can do it? Please forward the details to me in here, and experiences if any...

That pricing aint sound so bad!!! How much cheaper are you hoping to get it !!!!!

If you want it cheaper can you install the rear springs and shocks yourself?

No worries, the price from the suspension place sounded good, but the mechanic wanted a bit much i think.

Does anyone know if i have to lengthen brake lines or adjust anything else because of the lift?

For 2" nothing will need doing.

But IFS (Indepenant Front Sus) will need a wheelalignment afterwards !! Maybe see if the suspension place can throw it in for free

Cool, thanks for that.

I can't wait to get it done, because after that will be bullbar, steps and rails. Then i can fit some 31's and get it offroad a bit!
