80 series rims on a HiLux

Post by Evski »

Im planning on running a set of 285/75/16 muddies on my 1995 live axle HiLux and I was wondering if 80 series rims would provide enough offest to clear these. I am currently usig 15" rims so will need to change. Has anyone tried 80 sereis rims on a HiLux
Cheers

Im running the "standard" 80 series offset and 285/75R16 MTZ's on my 92 lux, and it really needs more offset- the tyres are touching the chassis on the rear when tucked!!

Im going to fix it by welding in a coil sprung prado diff with a wider track! :D

Nice! How are they on the front. I only ask as a guy at work has some at home and were seeing if it would be worth while him bringing them in.
