hey guys need sum help, on the dash of my gu ute the sub tank light stays on constantly. just installed a new turbo timer, but when t/timer is disconected it still stays on. and when sub tank button is pushed it wont pump. help, oh help me please!! :oops:

remove the fuse for it and check the connections on the pins of the fuse are clean , emery paper them and CO cleaner them , i have found this to be a big problem area , after doing that leave the battery disconected for 10 minutes and put it all back together should be good as gold , contact grease is also another good one on the fuse blades hope this is of some assistance.

What torque? Tighten it till it strips and then back it off half a turn.

i had the same problem with mine, auto lec said cause the turbo timer only had one ignition wire and one acessory wire that was the problem, so i can only run the timer for 30 sec or the light comes on. just pull the battery leed off for about 15 sec if not try a bit longer and the light will go off

thanks for the help guys!! much appreciated. spoke to james at pgs mornington, he told me its because they have a crap earth from battery to body, and to run another earth. did that and works fine for now. :lol: thanks again for ur help guys!!
