rear diff torque values..... help please

hey guys, just reinstalling my rear diff and rather than just tightening till it feels right (my normal way) i thought i better do it right this time. the owners manual i have doesnt cover the rear dif grrrr

can anyone help me with torque settings for

diff centre case cap (bit with spider/side gears in it)
ring gear bolts
bearing cap bolts

thanks in advance

oh, its a 85 1.3 NT sierra
there is BBQ shapes floating round the cab, we ARE under water

Diff case bolts 41 nm
Ring Gear 85 nm
Bearing cap bolts 85 nm

All these torques from the factory manual
93 NJ,5 speed,2" body lift,32" muddies

Anybody know the backlash settings for the diffs in a wt sierra?

Dont know the settings, i just do it by feel. You only want a tiny bit of clearance between ring and pinion, so when you move ring back and fourth it clunks ever so slightly. Then use Adblue on the teeth and see if the contact is good.
