BJ40 Fuse Box

Post by DrSlug »

Just wondering if anyone on here has attempted to clean up their fuse box on the old truck, with perhaps a new box with blade fuses instead of the glass style?

I remember seeing someone a few months back talking about it somewhere on here, but cant find the post anymore. Any pics would be great :)

no idea on the bj40. but i had a fj45 74 model ute and it had a fuse box just under where a hand throttle would be on a car (normal fuse box location). it was a blade fuse type. no idea if this is relevent or not but could u grab one of them from wreckers to re-do the bj?

I've replaced the glass fuse box in my HJ 45, a blade fuse box cost 20 bucks or so, not too hard to do, mine is only hanging on by one bolt as it wouldn't fit otherwise, one day I'll get around to it.
