I recently bought a set of these in a 285/75/16 and will post results of performance as time goes by. The main reason for purchase is the price as Goodyear have their buy 3 and get the 4th free. They only cost $1010 for the set fitted, balanced and wheel alignment plus $60 for lifetime puncture warranty. Any comments on these tyres would be appreciated.

Recently returned from a trip to Cape York which included a lot of driving on private property and found the tyres performed really well on all the different conditions from bitumen to driving up Gunshot and bush bashing through burnt unmarked tracks.
work has recently settled upon these tyres as the standard for the fleet of 11 vehicles.
after an extensive 18 month trial of 8 brands and 12 different tyres the puncture/wear ratio of these tyres to the other ones was in a different league.
its not uncommon for our utes to clock up 5-8000 km's per week, most of this is over shitty outback conditions, plus bitumen as well.

Friend of mine had these on his Patrol. Did a trip from Geraldton to kalumberu and back and not much else as far as off road. He ha BFG A/T's before that. Got 80000km out of the BFG's and barely 50000km out of the Goodyears. He did not like the handling or the performance of them compared to the BFG's.
Has gone back to BFG A/T's on the Nissan Patrol.. His opinion the BFG's are worth the extra couple hundred $.
Now on second set of 225x75x16 on Disco 2. Been a great tyre, good on road and off, been up the cape and back. Not certain how many kms but never had a puncture. Did have a problem with a couple seperating but this was probably due to low pressures (possibly too low) in the sand (beach) for two weeks towing a trailer. Goodyear came to party with warranty so no real issue. No further troubles.
Uncle has them on 100 series wagon (not certain size) and reckons they are great but on his farm ute not so good.
I have had a set on the Rangie for around 12 months now. So far I have been very happy with them. They are quiet on the road, have excellent grip wet or dry and seem to be lasting ok.
I got lazy before my last 4wd trip and could not be bothered swapping wheels and even though the weather was terrible the tyres performed really well after I let them down to 18psi. To be honest, I am happy enough with them that I will just carry a set of chains if the conditions get really bad and may sell my other tyres and wheels (MTR's)
Recently returned from my second trip to Cape York with these tyres and got a flat 1 klm from Landcruiser Park office (Trip started here) and ended up destroying it. Am now waiting for Goodyear to replace it as none in Australia at the moment.
Note: have tyre protection plan, so see how it goes.

94 base with lots of bits
Anyone got any info on the wear of them? I'm looking at the possibility of them as my next set, but curious how many k's people have gotten out of theirs?
Now have over 30k on them and still look like there is plenty of tread (10mm) and so far have taken me to the cape for work and play3 times since fitted and will be heading up again tomorrow for trip No 4 for work.

Got around 45-50k from them on my Rodeo. Didn't like them much. OK onroad, no so flash offroad. Quite a few flats (stones through the tread) after they were half worn. Changed to Maxxis muddies and actually getting a better run outta them puncher wise, no flats after 40k and still some life left in them.
I had them on my 2004 lux. They were a good soft roader / tour tire. Ok on the sand. Not so good on the wet rocky creek beds or clay. Over all great for the camping weekender.
Just an update on these.
Managed to get 100k out of them and have now bought another set hoping to get the same ks.

After being happy with them on my Rangie I fitted a set to my Dmax. 265/75 x 16. The Dmax is loaded to its maximum weight every day and so Far I have done 13,000 kms and they dont seem have worn at all. Where I needed 4wd to reverse up a wet grassy slope where I keep my trailers with the standard Bridgestones I just need 2wd with the Goodyears. I bought my set when Goodyear had the pay for 3 get four deal however I bought 5 as I have gone up a couple of sizes.
