a question on buying a truck from interstate

if buying a car/truck from interstate,im in vic and looking at a cruiser from nsw,if car comes with a roadworthy certificate,for nsw,is that passable in victoria or do u need to get the victorian equivelent,its also engineered for a v8 in nsw,so does that pass in vic also,thanks for any info

Need a Vic roadworthy & they will probably tell you to get it engineered in Vic.
trouble with Australia is that each State is different F**king Country.

They use these things as revenue raising & taxing.....

And they have sure put the money to good use with the roads going in, the bushfire money, economic stimulus during GFC etc, building infrastructure, keeping water up to us during drought, so probably not a bad thing over all, when managed and spent wisely.

Did this nyself but from Queensland into NSW.

For all the rigmarole you are better off sourcing from your state in my experience. It can be done but be prpared for some $$ to be spent to get it legal for your state.

Take the list of mods engineering etc to signatory or engineer where you are first to find out if it will pass for VIC before you even consider buying it.
