My GU ute goes in next week for a tune just wondering what amount of boost is safe to run which give's me good power/fuel economy but does'nt compromise engine life was thinking between 12-14psi
Any help is greatly appreciated

it doesnt really matter what boost you run.. its the mixture of fuel and air. on a stock fuel pump though there isnt much point going above 14psi

i ran virtually 15psi from when i bought the vehicle now 150k....
The last 35k, i have been running 28psi no issuess what so ever boot is your friend, just make sure the mixtures are right...

All turbo's have an efficiency zone, if you run more boost than the turbo can produce whilst maintaining minimum outlet air temp all that happens is you substitute air volume for heat. Boost is not what makes the cylinders full, it is the volume of air, a small turbo at high boost can produce less power and more intake heat (resulting in higher EGT's) than the same combination when running more moderate boost levels.
