lokkas

Post by steveb12 »

i have just finnished installing my lokka its a 4wd systems auto lokka.
i live in a country town in n.s.w. getting parts here is not that easy
can take 3 or 4 days. anyway i just wanted to let you guys no how i went .
taking everything out takes awhile, got the diff apart started on the lokka .
put the feeler gauges in where thay said thats when the drama started,
to much gap, went everywhere in town no shims anywhere.
ended up getting them from armidale in n.s.w overnight.
mistsubshi ones $212.00 for a kit able to get aftermarket for $28.00
big differance but they took two days to get.
also you need a new shear pin to in the cross shaft cant get one of them anywhere. ended up just making one.

you would thing for the price you pay systems could add a shim kit and shear pins to there kit it would make it alot easier to do the job.

just have to try it out and see how it works
