heater hoses on my 2.8 are leaking,have put new clamps on and new hoses,still leaks,whats the best sealant to stop it.....bb

Which part of the hoses.

into the heater core, the bypass pipe, or the outlets on the thermostat housing?

Are they clean from corrosion, or pitting.

I usually apply a small amount of permatex #3 non hardening to the outlet, and slip the hose on.
