The standard ones are either 60amp or 65amp can't remember. You can get a range of replacements in both Bosche and Hitachi. Mine was running at about 11.8 volts with spotties and fridge going and worse if a/c on etc. I got a Boshe 85 amp for about $420 and could run all accessories and still be at 13.8 volts after that. I know that one goes straight in with no stuffin around.

Howzit

If you are wanting to save cash and you have low current loading you can get a TD27 55A Alt for alot less and they bolt straight up, including the Vac pump.

there is also a 120 amp jobby with vac pump straight bolt up for about 700 which is sold by AEA (auto electrics Australia). I got one earlier this year after my old one kicked the bucket and am happy with it. not sure on the part number off the top of my head but if u were interested let me know (PM) and ill track it down. and i would reccommend not downgrading to a smaller capacity alternator.
