I don't know everything but I do know you need the throttle body, inlet manifold, computer and harness to start the swap.

Does anybody know if you need a surge tank for the swap? or anything else I have forgotten.

As far as the diff then 16v. Depends on ya money and mechanical experience. If you can do a lot yourself it might be worth it but in the short run and if you have to pay someone, save for the 16v.

cheers

I have the conversion, it's cheap and runs great. all bolt on you could port match if you like as the manifold is 1mm larger that the 1300 head ports. other than that it is 100% bolt on mine cost $150 for manifold and tbi I allready had a fuel pump and also had an old haltech ecu but you would by an ecu and fuelpump for a mpi 1600 conversion setup anyway so $150.. I have turboed mine too still works great and has no problem fueling the turbo. I have no experience with the factory harness and computer and would not even think about going that way.
