Hey guys,
Just wondering if there is any post 2000 model diesels without o2 sensors (That are common on here)
I'm not familiar with diesels AT ALL. So please excuse my ignorance.
Also, with regard to modern diesels,
Do they normally have an o2 sensor for fuel mixture and another for the cat efficeincy like petrol vehicles?
Cheers.

they don't use o2 sensors for fuel control on diesels. you can get some vehicles with them but its for monitoring the cat and diesel particle filter in the exhaust.CrispProducts wrote:

a lot of the ECU controlled diesels use MAP (boost) sensor and throttle inputs to control fuel. later ones use MAF (mass airflow sensor) instead.
