Stocker comps
So this other makes forum seems to be going well, I thought I'd start a new thread .Does anyone compete in stocker challenges and what have you got to do to get into them .I'm keen to start but don't know how I'm going to join a suzuki club and compete against stock zooks but what about other stuff less restricking. I'm sure a few of you other makes have thought the same thing.

Anyone from NSW know how to get into these? Sound like fun

Paul, come on up to LCMP on the 6-7 march for ASCC round 1. You will be able to enter the production class, or rookie class if your rig has more mods. for more details, email Glen at QSCC@bigpond.com

Camp - sure do. Competitors camp in a seperate area close to the competition area, away from the spectators. ASCC will have a website up and running soon, a lot of detailed info will be available from there.
Most competitors arrive on the friday evening and settle in, but the driver's briefing (before the comp starts) is usually around 11.00am -12 midday on saturday, so if you are organised you could arrive saturday morning to set up.

Sorry about that, but knowone was more dissapointed than me that I didn't make it. I guess i asked to many questions! At first I was told I needed a battery issolator switch and that under my bonnet would be Ok.I should have left it at that. I put one on but then discovered I didn't put the one they really wanted. Then came the nets, I thought I'd need only one at $30 but I needed 2 and the expense of it all became to much and I wasn't ready for all the outlay. Also my original nav bailed on me which left me feeling a little lonely.Maybe next time ill be ready before time.

make sure you do it. I just compeated in my first event up here in townsville. what a blast. The work you have to do to the truck is not really much and if you do it right the first time you should only have to do it ounce. Get out their and get into it. 4wd'ing is sooooooo much more fun with a crowd cheering you on I am now hooked!!!!
