fitting a york 210 to gq diesel
fitting a york 210 to gq diesel
will a york 210 compressor fit in a standard gq diesel with air con, and if so where. Is the install easy to?
York Compresser
Endless Air has a bracket for the sanden type compesser, it fits on the passenger side just above the chassis rail. Sits out pretty wide though I think he had to cut some of the inner guard away to clear it.
I was chasing a TB42 bracket, he said that he didn't have them and a few had tried but failed to design one.
That was the easy way out the door, so back to the hard way and I made my own. Worth the work the are far better than electric.
So try LHS low, not familiar with diesel may have to lift existing accesories up to make some more room and keep things close to the motor

i fitted an extra alternator below the power steering pump on my old GQ 4.2 diesel
the sanden compressor would fit but i'm not sure the york will.
i even had to lift the alt up on top of the steering rods on the passenger side and slide it across to the drivers side just to get it in.
