About a 315/70R16

There's nothing exact. I think 285/75R16 is common but it's basically a 33x11.5... which is better than a 12.5 anyway for most uses.

305/70/16 is as close as you will get to a 33x12.5x15 in a 16 inch.

As T_diesel said a 305/70/ 16 is as close as your going to get. Thats what i run at the moment but i have a set of 33/12.5/15s as well, and side by side the 16 is slightly bigger, not by much thou (like 5-10mm higher)

Depends on tyre brand a fair bit. My 285's measure the same as the MT MTZ's that are 305.

255/55/16 would be tiny. You sure you got the right size?

he meant 255/85x16...but check the tyre manufacturers specks...they are all different...

255/85x16's measure between 33.3 - 33.5x10.2x16

285/75x16 are about 32.8x11.5x16 thou vary....mtz are 11.3 my MT117's are 12 inches wide.

305/70x16's are 32.8 - 33.1 x 11.8 - 12.5 depending on brand.

always check the tyre specs before purchasing.
