Yeah it was a generalisation of Kiwis, my gripe about them is that they get over here and say new zealand this, and new zealand that......If its so good, GO HOME! :bad-words:

the hole prob has been fixed on the boxes long ago...

iam no longer moding old rear arms, but now making arms from scratch..
also trying to get some ome bushes for front and rear arms into nz..

megaflex front arms are almost ready should have one finished next week (a bit like your arn dave)
ready for testing in reefton at easter...

No probs ;) I've spent a lot of time living and working in Sydney, Perth & Cairns and most Kiwi's I knew or came into contact with also spoke of home AND what it DIDN'T have that Aust DID have..after all thats why we were there.

Back ot what NZ needs is guys designing, testing and manufacturing aftermarket 4wd gear as does Superior or Oondy etc, but they need to be doing it on their own merits and innovation. I'm putting the pennies away for a super flex arm and the turbo kit and when the time comes they will be sourced from Aust as well. :D

Nah as far as I'm concerned it's all good and hasn't stirred things up. And as far as anything else goes then a certain reputable firm in Aust manufacturing 4wd gear is now aware of a 'possible' copycat thing.

I am upgrading my suspesnion soon and need some info and help to sort the front end out. I am lifting my SWB with 3 inch LWB springs so should have 3.5 to 4 inches of lift, on the rear I will be running 6 inch boss shock with my bump stops extended 2 inches so I can't bottom out and stuff the shocks. For the front I am not sure what to do as I have bought a second set of shock towers to cut up and weld onto my orginal towers. How high should I extend the towers?( I will drill a hole in the guards if the tower is raised 2 inches to get access for a socket to tighten the shocks top nut. If I go higher than 2 inches I will get a big holesaw as the shock towers will be through the gaurds.) Is 6 inch rear shocks and 8 inch shocks on the front a bad idea?

I have the super flex arms with soft dobin coils at the front with 12 inch travel boss shocks, the rear has medium duty coils and 12 inch travel shocks. Offroad the rear flex is insane but front has only improved a little and the rear still does most of the flexing so I get fair bit of body roll.

This setup easily can be driven in rockcrawling or high speed events with no changes to anything.
Before you try the front swaybar just go to a slightly heavier rear coil and see how that goes, i think you will be pleased with the results.
Give me a call and i will get you the coils you will need.
What spring rate for the rear coils would make the front end flex better for SWB that is 2.1T?

Recently raised my shock towers, I don't have a body lift and raised them 50mm and couldn't get towers back in, lowered to 40mm same problem, lowered to 35mm and they fitted, then raised them with 15mm plate spacers. Wheel arch needed hole to access the top nut for the shock.

I have only had mine for 1 month and the biggest problem I have found is getting the rear spring rates right. I replaced all my suspesnion when I installed the arms and due too my rear spring rate being to soft( medium duty rear coils and soft duty front) I have tones of rear travel and frontend hardly flexes compared to the stock arms!
I have ordered some new stiffer rear springs that are 294 pounds and apparently these should stiffen the rear up and cause the front end to flex more without loosing flex at the rear.

Its a lot better, as I am running new 294 pound rear coils and this made a big difference as now the front and rear are working to gether at the same time( very little body roll), before the rear was doing majority of the flexing( heaps of body roll).

Any chance of a model number? Or what they are otherwise setup to suit?

Trying to work out a starting point for my LWB.

Greg I think I remember you posting up the spring rate of the rear coils of the red rig somewhere once. I'll search around for it.

Fitting rear swaybar has impoved the frontend flex, I parked my car and went looking at new line and was very surpised to see the front flexing like this when I got back.

they'd be 20-21mm .
Its hard to measure but they are around 21 or 22mm.

Cheers, looking into it over here and i've found a distributor who can give me LWB 3" in either 19mm or 20mm options (currently have 19mm coils but they are showing signs of sagging).
I'm going to stay with 19mm but may go for the 20mm jobbies.
