Most extreme 215/75r15 Tyre?

Hey all

Looking for an answer to this toughy... the uncle's jimny needs new rubber - and theres no chance of any lift work to be done, so we're thinking going up a touch in tyre size from the 205/70r15's that come stock... however the biggest issue is finding a decent tread pattern for mud/rock work... none of the suppliers that come to my mind make anything anywhere near that size!

So - fire away - whats everyones thoughts on good mud/rock tyres in a 215/75r15?

It's a mighty 27.7x8.5!

You'll want to make the leap to 29" tyres I reckon, that is the first size where decent ranges start to kick in. And a good size for a jimny.

almost impossible to fit a 29 to a jimny without some sort of lift or guard chopping though - and he has no budget for that (as well as his wife driving it as a DD).

I told you it was a tough one =)

I have BFG mud terrain in the 215/75/15 size on my sierra.

They measure just a touch over 27' with 15psi.

There are probably better tyres for each situation, but I find them a good compromise.

I have the KM version, not the KM2.

A mate has a 2008 Jimny with these tyres and is quite happy with them.
